The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mr. Charles F. Robinson of Ocala, Fla. and Mr. and Mrs. Reuel Buttram of Tucker. She currently is attending Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville and will receive her bachelor of science degree in nursing in May 2006.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Burch of Fayetteville and Mr. and Mrs. Orbin Howell of Macon. He is currently attending Georgia College and State University and will receive his bachelor of business administration degree, with a major in management, in May 2006.
The wedding will be May 20, 2006 at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow at The Hollingsworth House in Fayetteville.
The couple will reside in Columbus.
Coker-Butera
Ms. Lynn T. Coker and Mr. and Mrs. William M. Coker of Rome announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Courtney Coker, to Brian Keith Butera, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel R. Butera of Griffin.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Toles of Rome, the late William M. Coker Sr. and the late Ms. Hazel Coker Gravitt. She is a 1997 graduate of Rome High School, a 2001 graduate of Georgia College and State University with a bachelor of science degree in outdoor education, and a 2005 graduate of Georgia College and State University with a master of arts degree in secondary education. She is a member of Gamma Sigma Sigma. She is employed with the Henry County Board of Education in McDonough.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Antonette Butera and Agnes Dougherty, both of Pittsburgh Pa., the late Frank Butera and the late John Dougherty. He is a 1996 graduate of Griffin High School, a 2001 graduate of Clayton College and State University with a bachelor of arts degree in middle level education, a 2004 graduate of the State University of West Georgia with a master of education in middle level education, and a 2005 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University with a specialist degree in educational administration and supervision. He is employed with the Fayette County Board of Education in Fayetteville.
The private wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, at North Broad Baptist Church in Rome.
Layfield-Reinen
Diane Layfield of Locust Grove and Earl Layfield of Albany announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Stacy Lynn Layfield, to Scot Allen Reinen, son of Larry and Mary Reinen of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be, a 1996 graduate of Henry County High School, received her certification as a nursing assistant from Griffin Technical College and currently is pursuing her R.N. She is employed as a medical assistant at The Summit Urgent Care in Newnan and as a neonatal unit secretary with the DeKalb Medical Center.
The groom-elect is a 1994 graduate of McIntosh High School in Peachtree City and a 1998 graduate of Georgia Southern University where he earned a bachelors degree in sales and sales marketing. He is employed by Kauffman Tire as the manager of Tradepot.
The wedding will be Oct. 22, 2005, in Las Vegas, Nev. A reception for family and friends will be held Nov. 5, 2005, in Peachtree City.
The couple will reside in Newnan.

She currently is employed by WESH News Channel 2 as a staff accountant in Orlando, Fla.
The future groom, a 1995 graduate of West Orange High School, received an electrical engineering degree from ITT Tech. He currently is employed by OmniTicket Network as a senior field service engineer in Orlando, Fla.
The wedding will be Oct. 15, 2005 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Fayetteville, with the reception following at Flat Creek Country Club. After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Winter Garden, Fla.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Demery Johnson of Peachtree City. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Dee Chisolm of Plant City, Fla. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Demery Johnson of Fernandina Beach, Fla. A graduate of Georgia Southern University, she is employed as an inside account manager with BlueLinx, Corp. in Marietta.
The groom is the son of Ms. Janice Allen Couch of Cartersville and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lee Couch of Roswell. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Allen of Cartersville and Mrs. Francis Couch and the late Francis Couch of Anderson, S.C. A graduate of Georgia Southern University, he is employed as an outside account manager with Southeastern Freight Lines.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Matrons of honor were Mrs. Amber Grabowski, of Clermont, Fla. and Mrs. Kimberly John, of Greenville, S.C., sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Diana Bert and Lesley Gravely of Cartersville, Beth Burnett of Marietta, Theresa Childs and Elizabeth Roy of Peachtree City, and Jacquie Urko of Charleston, S.C. Junior bridesmaid was Cierra Grabowski of Clermont, Fla., niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Bryson Grabowski, nephew of the bride, also of Clermont.
Best men were, Alvin Couch, father of the groom, and Sam Allen, grandfather of the groom. Groomsmen were Gabe Agan, Matthew Gambill, and Lloyd Taylor all of Cartersville, Jason Lewis of Woodstock, and Daniel Pope of McDonough. Ushers were Chad Grabowski of Clermont, Fla. and Scott John of Greenville, S.C., both brothers-in-law of the bride.
Following the ceremony the brides parents entertained with a reception at the Palmer Course at Starrs Mill.
The couple honeymooned in Whitehouse, Jamaica, and now resides in Marietta.
