Grief Share starts tomorrow

Grief Share, a grief support group open to anyone who has lost a loved one, will begin a new fall class on Thursdays, starting Aug. 25, from 6:30-8 p.m. in room 308 of the Peachtree City United Methodist Church’s Robinson Road facility. Wellspring Benefit is this Saturday

The Second Annual Wellspring Benefit will be held at 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug, 27, at Starr’s Mill High School and will feature Tom Key reciting poetry “from Silverstein to Shakespeare, and Dickens to Dickey.” The cost is $10 per person, including dessert and beverages. Man 2 Man group starts Sept. 6

What does true spiritual life really look like? Men in the community are invited to experience spiritual disciplines for ordinary people as Bruce Hebel, senior pastor at Grace Evangelical Church leads men through a study of John Ortberg’s book, The Life You’ve Always Wanted. Inman UMC will offer Bible study

Inman United Methodist Church in south Fayette County will offer a nine-month Bible study class on “Jesus Christ, The Cornerstone,” beginning Thursday, Sept. 8, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The class will be taught by Inman’s pastor, the Rev. Providence to host community Bible study

Community Bible Study is an interdenominational Bible study for the community which will resume classes Sept. 9, from 9:30-11:30 a.m at Providence United Methodist Church. This year’s study is entitled “Solomon’s Wisdom and Pastoral Letters.” A children’s program is available for ages 6 weeks through fifth grade.
