Bad Links? | Rising Starr earns Effective Program AwardRising Starr Middle was among 10 middle schools in Georgia awarded the Georgia Association of Middle School Principals Effective Program Award. The award is presented by the GAMSP to give recognition to schools with effective programs in middle grades education. It also serves to inform fellow educators and the general public of outstanding middle schools in Georgia that are successfully meeting the academic, physical, emotional and social needs of the middle school learner. The award was presented to Principal Len Patton at the GAMSP meeting held in July during the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders Summer Conference at Jekyll Island. Other schools earning the award were Gladden Middle School, Upson-Lee Middle School, Hart County Middle School, West Chatham Middle School, Towns County Middle School, Lee County Middle School, East Coffee Middle School, West Coffee Middle School and Needwood Middle School. |
