First phase filling up at Wesminister Hills

With work underway on the second phase, only seven homes and seven homesites are still available for purchase in the 44-home first phase of Wesminister Hills, Dixon Development’s exclusive golf course community in the Griffin area.

The 117-home community, which is offering homes prices from the low $200,000s to the $700,000s, is located on North Pine Hill, which runs off Ga. Highway 16. A second entrance to the community is being constructed on Highway 16, and this will give residents direct access to the state route.

Bob Spence of Metro Brokers/GMAC, who is a member of the sales team, said Wesminister Hills is being built in four phases, and the second phase will contain 13 homesites, nine of which will be on the golf course. This phase should be ready in a few months.

The initial builder in the community was Dixon-Alley Builders, a Dixon Development partnership, and the builder team now includes both Reid Companies and Ellis-Cook Construction. Both Frank Betz and Don Gardner home designs are available, and the builders are also able to do custom work as long as the designs are compatible with the other homes in the community. The continuing value of homes in the development is assured through the use of carefully established standards and architectural covenants.

Wesminister Hills is located just minutes from the crossroads of Highways 19/41 and 16, which is in the heart of Griffin’s shopping district. This allows residents a desirable blend of city convenience and country charm.

Residents of the community have the opportunity to become memers of the Griffin Golf & Country Club, a full service country club with swim, tennis, dining and golf.
