Bad Links? | Sat. event right up kids alleyThe newly named Kidz Fest in Peachtree City will feature many fun activities at the Shakerag Knoll recreation complex off McIntosh Trail Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. All attractions are free including an Iron Man Obstacle Course, a giant slide, a rock wall, and a moonwalk. Free face painting will also be offered, but participants are encouraged to get in line early. A small fee will be necessary to participate in the pony rides. Vendors will be on hand to sell refreshments. The event is formerly known as The Last Fling, which was scheduled just before school started. This year, the decision was made to move the date to late August to let families have time to get ready for school, organizers said.
