CTK to host certification class

Father David Monroe of Marietta will lead a class for licensed liturgical ministers at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church Saturday, Aug. 20. The class will serve to re-certify those who have previously received licenses and will provide the necessary educational foundation for those seeking a license for the first time.

Licensed liturgical ministers take Holy Communion to the home bound and the sick and also assist at the altar on Sundays.

Monroe is pastor of The Church of the Holy Trinity in Marietta and also is the canon liturgist for the Diocese of Georgia.

Christ the King is on Ga. Hwy. 34 between Peachtree City and Newnan.
