Local business makes eBay easy for everyone

Almost everyone is familiar with eBay. It is a great place to buy both new and used items of every sort imaginable. It is also a great place to sell items. Unfortunately, most do not have the time to delve into the wonderful world of selling on eBay. We work and don’t have time, we are unfamiliar with computers, we are intimidated by the idea of the workings of eBay, we don’t know the value of that old sewing machine or camera; the list of reasons we shy away from selling on eBay is infinite.

He and his staff help you determine how eBay is valuing your collectibles, jewelry, musical instruments and other “stuff.” If you like what you hear, they professionally photograph the item, write expert copy about the item, post it on the proper eBay auction, process the payment from the winning bidder and then professionally package and ship the item.

After the item sells, they send you a check.

The type items that sell on eBay are limited only by the imagination. Buyers still bid through the usual eBay channels and checkout online or pay with a credit card at the store.

“If you are thinking about having a yard sale, consider our service for you higher-end items,” said Nigro. “Most who buy at yard sales are looking for rock-bottom prices. Marketing your item to the millions of people on eBay should bring a better price without the haggling.”

Local schools and charities are already getting excited about the fundraising opportunities offered through iSold It. Not only is it a fun way to raise money for a charity, it is easy. All the charity needs to do is register their charity, at no cost, and spread the word to their network of supporters. Those choosing to support their favorite charity simply bring in an item to sell, designate the charity, and wait for the thank-you note from the charity.

Businesses can also benefit from using iSold It.

Nigro said, “We take all the work out of auctioning new merchandise, bulk lots of new or used goods, overstocks, close-out, returns, last seasons items, liquidation of equipment and supplies.” He indicated they are already working with a local vendor to sell new designer clothing on eBay.

Selling on eBay has never been easier. There is no up-front cost to list an item and it is not necessary to set up an eBay account. Once the item sells, iSold It deducts a commission, eBay and payment processing fees before sending a check to the seller. If the item doesn’t sell, it is given back to the seller, re-listed or donated to a charity if preferred.
