Bad Links? | Heritage Bank announces recent additionsIn an ongoing effort to better serve its communities, Heritage Bank has added a new staff member to head up its expanded mortgage program. Heritage tapped the expertise of six-year home loan veteran Stewart Esary to be its new mortgage originator. A Southern Crescent native, Esary is very familiar with the communities he serves. He graduated from Griffin High School, and attended the University of Georgia where he earned degrees in Real Estate and Finance before pursuing a career in the mortgage industry. Excited about his new position, Esary explained that he enjoys the personal relationship that is established by guiding my clients through the home loan process. Heritage Banks mortgage programs now include FHA and VA loans for qualified buyers, in addition to its existing mortgage options. With a minimum requirement of only 3 percent down and alternative credit scoring options, the FHA loans make it easier for first-time homebuyers, as well as those with blemished credit, to finance a home. Heritages addition of a VA loan offers veterans the ability to obtain a home loan on favorable financing terms without a down payment. Heritage also offers conventional and jumbo home loans. Heritage Bank has always been dedicated to helping its customers reach their personal and financial goals, said Leonard Moreland, President of Heritage Bank. By offering these loan programs, we will help more people in our communities own the home of their dreams. With a reputation based on superior banking and exceptional customer service, Heritage Bank has been serving the Clayton, Fayette and Henry County communities for 50 years. With the addition of three banking veterans to their communities, Heritage Bank has broadened the expertise behind its reputation. Joining the Fayetteville branch as a vice president of commercial lending, Daniel Vano will be an enormous asset to Heritage Banks customers. Since 1999, Vano has worked as a commercial lending officer assisting several small and mid-sized businesses in Fayette County. He also currently serves on the loan committee for Capital Partners Certified Development Company. Vano began his career in banking nearly 20 years ago with C&S Bank in Milledgeville, Georgia. Throughout his career, Vano served as a financial examiner with the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance and spent several years specializing in Small Business Administration lending. The Georgia College alumnus is a member of the Peachtree City Kiwanis Club, First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City, and is active with the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce. As the new branch manager, Annette Deaton joins Heritage Banks Fayetteville Towne Center branch with 15 years of banking experience in Clayton, Fayette, and Spalding counties. Deaton has been involved with the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Partners in Education Committee. She has been very active in the Fayette County Education system, working as a volunteer with East Fayette Elementary as well as serving three years on the board of the Fayette County Education Foundation. As the banking point of contact for several small business owners, Deaton was responsible for seeing that their financial needs were consistently being met. In her new position, Deaton will continue to meet and exceed the needs of her Heritage Bank customers. As branch manager, Kelly Haring joins Heritage Banks branch at Eagles Landing with nearly 20 years of specializing in meeting and exceeding customer needs. Having worked her way from teller, to lender, to branch manager, Haring has the knowledge and experience to serve her customers in countless ways. A relative newcomer to the area, Haring relocated here from Indiana three years ago. While in Indiana, she was actively involved in her local Chamber of Commerce and Homebuilders Committee. She looks forward to getting actively involved with the Henry County community. Haring believes that a business banker is an invaluable partner for growing businesses. In her new role, Haring will focus on creating financial solutions for both business and personal customers.
