Qualifying set for Fairburn

Qualifying for the Nov. 8 election for Fairburn’s Mayor and three at-large council seats is set for Sept. 12-14.

City positions on the Nov. 8 ballot include the mayor and council seats currently occupied by Doug Crawford, Mario Avery and Roy Farr. Those interested in qualifying must do so between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. during the Sept. 12-14 period. The qualifying fee for the mayor’s election is $90 while the fee for council seats is $45.

Those interested in qualifying should contact City Clerk Nancy Faulkner at city hall.

The polling location for the city of Fairburn Nov. 8 election is city hall, located at 56 Malone Street.
