Pye to represent United at Villages of HuntcliffNeal Pye, who entered real estate in early 2004 after a 20-year career in business and industry in the Newnan area, has been named as United Realty Groups on-site agent at The Villages of Huntcliff in Hogansville. Wendell Staley, director of United Realty Groups New Home Sales Division, said Pye will handle new home sales for Premium Builders Inc., one of the two builders in the community. Located off Ga. Highway 29 within walking distance of Hogansvilles historic downtown business district, The Villages of Huntcliff will have approximately 600 homes and is the first swim/tennis community in the Hogansville area. Premium Builders will offer homes priced from $109,000 to $127,000. Pye, who has lived in the Newnan area since 1983, received his real estate training through the Gaddy School of Real Estate and is a member of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce, the Realty Land Institute, and the Newnan/Coweta Board of Realtors, as well as the Georgia and National Realtor associations. He served in the U.S. Army for eight years, with duties ranging from instructor at the U.S. Army Signal School to nuclear custodial agent, then spent three years with Union Carbide in Woodbine. He joined Yokogawa Corporation of America in Newnan in 1983, working there in supervisory and management postions until 2000, then was with a consulting firm in Newnan until 2003. United Realty Group was founded in Newnan in November 2002 by five top producing Realtors with different sales backgrounds. The partners, who include Scott Shefelton, Eric Edge, Laura Crockwell, Craig Hemrick and Craig Jackson, said they have combined their idease that they knew to be successful, and they are focused on implementing fresh new approaches that will keep the company on the cutting edge of service. Staley said that since its inception, the company has added new agents almost weekly, and he noted that the owners have worked to provide its Realtors with the tools needed to offer exceptional service to customers.
