Casino Night for HBA Aug. 25The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia will have a Casino Night at its August meeting, scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 25, at the Wyndham Peachtree Hotel & Conference Center in Peachtree City. The social hour will begin with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by the associations annual election of officers at 6:30 p.m. The casino will open at 7 p.m. All proceeds from Casino Night will go toward construction of a home for J.T. Holloway, a 21-year-old Fayette County resident who was involved in an accident in December 2001 which left him paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair. The Midwest Georgia HBA, Brent Scarbrough & Company, and Jeff Betsill Homes are building a wheelchair-accessible home for Holloway and his family. Admission to the event will be by pre-purchased ticket only. Information about purchasing a ticket, making a reservation or becoming a sponsor can be obtained by calling the association office at (770) 716-7109 prior to Monday, Aug. 22. The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia serves builders in Fayette, Coweta, Spalding, Meriwether, Heard, Pike, Upson, Lamar, Butts and Jasper counties.
