Casino Night for HBA Aug. 25

The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia will have a Casino Night at its August meeting, scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 25, at the Wyndham Peachtree Hotel & Conference Center in Peachtree City.

The social hour will begin with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by the association’s annual election of officers at 6:30 p.m. The casino will open at 7 p.m.

All proceeds from Casino Night will go toward construction of a home for J.T. Holloway, a 21-year-old Fayette County resident who was involved in an accident in December 2001 which left him paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair. The Midwest Georgia HBA, Brent Scarbrough & Company, and Jeff Betsill Homes are building a wheelchair-accessible home for Holloway and his family.

Admission to the event will be by pre-purchased ticket only. Information about purchasing a ticket, making a reservation or becoming a sponsor can be obtained by calling the association office at (770) 716-7109 prior to Monday, Aug. 22.

The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia serves builders in Fayette, Coweta, Spalding, Meriwether, Heard, Pike, Upson, Lamar, Butts and Jasper counties. More information about the group can be obtained by calling Sandy Boda, executive officer, at the association office.
