Moms In Touch group plans fall coffeeWhen we cant be with our children, we go to the One who can, states Michelle Holder, area coordinator for Moms In Touch International, a group of women who meet regularly to pray for their children and schools. We seek to make a difference in the lives of our children through prayer and by praying that our schools may be guided by biblical values and high moral standards, Holder said. Currently, there are 20 Moms In Touch groups meeting in Fayette and Coweta counties. Local women interested in learning about the organization or those who would like to start a new group are invited to a Casting Off coffee, to Set Sail for the 2005-2006 School Year on Tuesday, Aug. 16, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Peachtree City, 208 Willowbend Rd. For more information, contact Holder at 770-631-8868 or visit the Moms In Touch Web site, www.MomsInTouch.org |
