Bad Links? | Fayette residents win iPod from BrustersElvis might be the King of Rock and Roll but at Brusters, customer service is king and some area residents rock. The following scoopers at local Brusters Ice Cream stores have won an iPod music player from Brusters Ice Cream as part of the companys Rock and Roll Challenge: Kenny Cowart of Fayetteville. These local winners were honored for providing excellent customer service to a mystery shopper. We spend a great deal of time on training and we take customer service very seriously so were extremely proud of our winners for demonstrating a commitment to making Brusters a friendly, customer-first business, said Kim Piper, vice president of marketing for Brusters Real Ice Cream. The Rock and Roll Challenge is a summer-long promotion that encourages Brusters scoopers to implement the c.a.r.e. customer service program. A mystery shopping program is in place at all of Brusters franchise outlets to help ensure that every customer gets outstanding service. Anyone who receives a 100 percent score in April, May, June or July becomes eligible for a monthly iPod drawing. At the end of the contest, all eligible scoopers will be put into a drawing for a 2005 Ford Mustang Convertible. Brusters started as a family-owned ice cream shop in 1989 when founder Bruce Reed opened his first store in Bridgewater, Penn. Consistently ranked by Entrepreneur magazine as one of the nations leading franchise companies, Brusters now has more than 200 stores in eastern states from New Hampshire to Florida, with a majority of them being locally owned and operated. Brusters makes a variety of real ice cream, cakes and other treats fresh at every store. Brusters encourages every-day fun by offering great promotions like free baby cones, free doggie sundaes and Banana Thursdays (1/2 off the price of a banana sundae when you bring your own banana). Brusters philosophy is very simple. We believe that ice cream is one of lifes great, simple pleasures that can be shared with family and friends of all ages. |
