What do you think of this story? Bad Links? | The Skys the Limit for Sky High
Will Stronghold (Michael Angarano) is the newest student at Sky High, a superhero school for young teens with super powers. The only problem is that he doesnt have any superpowers. His parents, Commander Stronghold and Jetstream, (played by Kurt Russell and Kelly Preston) are the greatest superheroes on the planet, while he on the other hand, seems to be a normal teen. This causes a big problem in gym class when its Power Placement Day, where you either become a hero or a not so good sidekick. He turns out to be a sidekick when the gym teacher Mr. Boomer drops a car on him and he says Are you insane?! Whats worse is that he acquires an arch enemy whose parents are good AND evil, or in other words, two different flavored lollipops. Meanwhile, Gwen, the student body president, has a crush on him and draws him away from his other girlfriend Layla. What I liked about this movie is that it was written in comic book form (like a DC comic). Will he ever get superpowers? Is Gwen on to something? Will Layla ever get Will back? What was annoying to me was that it had a plot twist and you didnt get to see who the bad guy was until the very end. Girls will like this because it has some romantic moments. Boys will like this because it has lots of action violence and heroic moments. It is rated PG for action violence and some mild language. Not recommended for babies (AKA rugrats). | |
