Senior adults to take tour of Fox TheaterThe SAGE (senior adults) group at Fayetteville First United Methodist church will leave at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, for a trip to Atlanta and a 10:15 tour of the Fox Theater. Lunch will be at a nearby restaurant. The group will return to the church by 2:30 p.m. Cost of the tour and gas is $9 per person. Each individual will pay for his or her lunch. Ladies Bible study starts Sept. 7 at FFBCA 10-week Beth Moore Bible study program, The Patriarchs, will begin at Fayetteville First Baptist Church Wednesday, Sept. 7. Sessions are scheduled for 9:30- 11:30 a.m. and from 6-7 p.m. Accompanying books are available at the front desk for $15, or free if needed. Amish trip still has openingsThere are still a few openings for the senior adults week-long trip to the Amish country in September, sponsored by National Heights Baptist Church. The Amish Experience costs $600 per person, double occupancy, or $790 per person, single occupancy, and includes transportation, lodging, food and four shows. The dates are Sept. 19-24.
