PTC American League All Stars make the state tournament

The Peachtree City American League All Star team will represent Georgia’s Little League District 4 in the upcoming 11 year old state tournament at Ocee park in Alpharetta.

The District 4 tournament was held at the West Point, Georgia baseball fields. The American and National League 11 Year Old All Star teams from Peachtree City played each other in a “best of three game” series. The American League team won the first two games 10-0 and 13-0 to win the District title.

An award for each team’s “Unsung Hero” was voted on by the coaches and presented after the games on Saturday. Matt Mosgrove earned this distinction for the American League with Ross Stephens being selected by the National League.

Players for the Peachtree City American League 11 Year Old All Stars include Hunter Brown, Timothy Bryant, Toren Carr, Yale Cottrell, Mac Forte, Brian Griffith, Travis Harris, Matt Mosgrove, Cole Piper and Eric Thomason. The team is managed by Beau Brown with assistant coaches Greg Griffith, Jim Harris and David Mosgrove.
