Bad Links? | Lewis and Robinson choose rival collegesBy MICHAEL BOYLAN Next spring, they will be two of the seniors that hope to lead the Starrs Mill varsity baseball team back to the state playoffs. The spring after that, they will be in opposite dugouts. Catcher Joey Lewis and pitcher Andrew Robinson have recently selected where they will further their education after high school. Lewis has chosen the University of Georgia and Robinson will attend Georgia Tech. The two have been teammates on the varsity squad at Starrs Mill since their sophomore year and both have done extremely well in helping their team make the state quarterfinals the past two seasons. They were also on a Georgia select team this summer made up of rising seniors. The team traveled to Oklahoma this month to face off against similar teams from other states. Georgia - Georgia Tech is one of the great rivalries in all of sports, but Lewis and Robinson will in a sense always be Starrs Mill Panthers.
