What do you think of this story? Bad Links? | Dear Chocolate Fans, This is a film you will love to unwrap! In a stunning remake of 1971s Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory comes an all new version. starring Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka. Willy Wonka sends out 5 golden tickets in 5 special candies that could be anywhere in the world. If a kid finds a golden ticket they will be able to visit the factory for one day. One child will receive a special prize. When the kids get inside the factory, its one funny disaster after another. Willy barely takes it seriously when Augustus Gloop falls into a river of chocolate and gets sucked up a pipe to be taken to the chocolate room. He doesnt care when even more bitter disasters happen, including an attack by an army of squirrels and a new 3 course meal bubble gum invention gone awry. I liked this movie better than the original because it has Johnny Depp, who I had never seen before. (My sister had seen Pirates of the Caribbean and recommended him to me.) It has some spooky music and its a lot darker. Also, I saw this in both IMAX and at Tinseltown. Tinseltown was best because IMAX had some serious face space issues. I give this movie 3 out of 5 stars. It is rated PG for quirky situations, action, and language. | |
