Bad Links? | Pool hall in Fayetteville goes smoke-freeFayetteville billiards enthusiasts have a new reason to go to The Classic Cue the facility is now smoke-free. The owners have taken extraordinary measures to remove all smoke residue on the inside of the facility. Smokers are allowed to smoke in a designated outdoor smoking area. We are seeing a lot of new faces since we went smoke-free, said staff member Rick Kapela. Georgias new indoor smoking ban went into effect July 1, and it requires businesses which allow indoor smoking to turn away customers under the age of 18. The Classic Cue offers league play on Tuesday and Thursday nights in which teams compete for prize money and a chance to play in the national finals. The business is a member of the American Cue Sports National Pool Association and the Billiards Congress of America. One of the Classic Cue teams recently won the first ACS state championship. |
