The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Archer Jr. of East Point and Mrs. Sara F. Walker and the late Samuel G. Walker of LaGrange. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Fay Thamer of Union City and Mrs. Frances Archer of Alpharetta. She is a 1999 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2003 graduate of Georgia Southern University where she received a bachelor of science degree in public relations. She is currently employed by Pottery Barn as a customer service representative.
The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Paula Ehinger and the late Theo Ehinger of Bad Schussenried, Germany, and Vernon Hansen and the late Mary Hansen of West Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Racine, Wis. He is a 1999 graduate of Berkmar High School and received his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2004, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. He is presently employed by e^deltacom as a network analyst.
The wedding will be Aug. 6, 2005, at Peachtree City United Methodist Church with a reception to follow at The Palmer Course at Whitewater Creek.
Following a honeymoon in London and Paris, the couple will reside in Smyrna.

The wedding was at 6 p.m., April 9, 2005, in the garden of Something Special in Newnan, with a reception following. The Rev. Steve Schofield of Brooks United Methodist Church conducted the ceremony.
Just Friends Ensemble, a string quartet, performed prior to and during the ceremony. Poetry and selected Scripture passages were read by attendants of the bride. The bride and groom exchanged both personal and traditional vows.
Both the bride and the groom are 1991 graduates of McIntosh High School in Peachtree City and both received bachelors degrees from Georgia State University.
Following a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple now resides in Senoia.
