Other incidents

Fayetteville Police Dept.

Robbery: Sultan Virani, 35, of Knight Way, Fayetteville, reported July 13 that he and Laila Dhanani were robbed at his apartment complex. The robber took their driver's licenses, a brown wallet and purse, a Samsung cellphone, five credit cards, a checkbook and a pink gift bag, all valued at $326.

Fayette Co. Fire and Emergency Services

Fire Safety Education: At 10:37 a.m. July 13, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel held a Fire Safety Education class at 285 Lynnwood Ave.

Mobile property fire: At 8:37 p.m. July 13, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to a mobile property fire at 1646 N. 92 Hwy.

Fire in portable building: At 4:05 p.m. July 14, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to a fire in a portable building at 230 Zelkova Drive.

Station Tour: At 10:07 a.m. July 15, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel conducted a station tour at 212 Flat Creek Trail.

From July 13-15: the Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services received 50 calls for help.

Fayetteville Fire Dept.

Water problem: At 12:03 a.m. July 11, Fayetteville firefighters responded to a water problem at 260 Deer Forrest Drive.

Vehicle fire: At 5:11 p.m. July 11, Fayetteville firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at Ga. Hwy. 85 and Pavilion Parkway.

Electrical problem: At 11 a.m. July 16, Fayetteville firefighters responded to an electrical problem at 429 Forest Ave.

From July 11-17: the Fayetteville Fire Department received 53 calls for help.
