Fayette-Coweta Family Theatre, Inc. and The Village's Amphitheater in Fayetteville will present the Tim Rice-Andrew Lloyd Webber family musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" on July 14 - 17. "Dreamcoat" explodes upon the amphitheater stage, re-telling the Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors as a vibrant and delightful musical parable. Joseph's dreams get him into trouble with his 11 brothers, who sell him into slavery. A series of misfortunes befall him until his gift of interpreting dreams raises him to great power, and reunites him with those he loves. This Broadway extravaganza, shimmers with elaborately staged production numbers and a score full of hits. A cast of 54 talented adults, teens and children from all over North Georgia will rock the Village's Amphitheater during this show suitable for the entire family. Performances begin as 8 p.m. each evening and gates open at 7 p.m. Tickets at the gate are $12 general and $11 for seniors and children, with $10 pre-sale tickets now available at the Peachtree City and Fayetteville libraries, Fayetteville City Hall and by phone reservation or online. A very limited number of front row tables can be reserved for the performance of choice for $100 each. Call the theatre to reserve tables. Tables seat eight. Main seating is general and all are encouraged to bring picnic baskets and drinks to enjoy before and during the performance.
