Bad Links? | Georgia Lottery sending Brooks resident to see the Braves in San FranciscoBrooks resident Millie Bergen, 57, was one of 11Lucky Grand Prize winners of the Georgia Lotterys Mega Road Trip promotion. The winners each won trips for two to San Francisco, Calif. to see the Atlanta Braves take on the Giants. In addition to two round trip tickets from Delta, the winners also receive hotel accomodations from the San Francisco Downtown Marriott, two tickets to each game between the Braves and the Giants in the three game series and $300 spending money. Bergen was thrilled to hear that she won. I love the Georgia Lottery! proclaimed Bergen. This will be my first trip to San Francisco. I want to ride on a cable car and eat on Fisherman's Wharf. As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Mega Millions will benefit education in the state of Georgia. Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $7.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs. These include Georgia's HOPE scholarship program; a statewide, voluntary pre-kindergarten program for four-year-olds; and a wide range of technological and capital upgrades for the state's schools, technical institutes, colleges, universities and public libraries. |
