Three builders join Eagles Brooke teamThree well-known Metro South area builders have been added to the custom builder team at Eagles Brooke Golf and Country Club, the Killearn Properties community in the Locust Grove area of Henry County. Chris Yager, the broker for the Eagles Brooke Sales Center, said the new members of the custom builder team are Mike Hoover Custom Homes, MC Custom Homes, and Don Henry Homes. They join Oxford Custom Homes LLC, RHB Inc., and Kenny Johnson Homes. We are extremely pleased to have these great builders in our community, said Yager. Mike Hoover Custom Homes, MC Custom Homes, and Don Henry Homes will begin building in Phase 6 of the development, which opens later this summer. The new phase will have 49 homesites, and the previous phase, which opened in January, currently has only 14 homesites still available for purchase. Yager said the development has a five to six-year supply of homesites remaining. Mike Hoover, owner of Mike Hoover Custom Homes, a Locust Grove-based company, has been building quality homes for 22 years. He builds primarily in Henry County and prefers building one and one-half story and ranch plans. The company is currently active in Heritage Ridge and has also built in The Laurels, The Preserves, and Lakehaven. Marvin Childs, owner of MC Custom Homes, which is headquartered in Williamson, has been building since 1989. He offers a wide variety of home designs for purchasers. The company is building in two other Killearn Properties country club communities, Eagles Landing in Stockbridge and Durham Lakes in Fairburn. Don Henry Homes, which is based in Stockbridge, has been in building for more than 22 years, specializing in custom homes priced from $500,000 to $3 million. While Henry County is the companys home base, it has also built in Fayette, Clayton and DeKalb Counties. The company is building in three other Killearn Properties country club communities, Eagles Landing and Southgate in Stockbridge and Waterfall Country Club at Lake Burton in the North Georgia Mountains. Eagles Brooke, Killearn Properties family-oriented planned community located off Bill Gardner Parkway, is a 1,200-acre development which will ultimately have approximately 700 upscale homes priced from the $300,000s to over $1 million. The master-planned community features pedestrian-friendly sidewalks on both sides of streets, streetlights, underground utilities, matching designer mailboxes at each residence, play areas, and the security of a private, gated neighborhood. In the near future, in addition to the championship golf course, there will be a clubhouse and lighted tennis courts. Eagles Brooke is located in the new Luella school district and is a short drive from Exit 212 of I-75 and the Tanger Outlet Center. More information about the neighborhood can be obtained by calling the Eagles Brooke Sales Center at 770-898-5929. The developer of Eagle's Brooke, Killearn Properties, began developing communities in the Tallahassee, FL, area in 1964 with two 4,000-acre master planned communities, Killearn Estates and Killearn Lakes Plantation, which includes Golden Eagle Country Club. Since entering the Georgia market, the company has also developed Eagles Landing in Stockbridge, and current projects include Waterfall Country Club at Lake Burton and Kingwood Golf Club and Resort in the North Georgia mountains and Durham Lakes Golf and Country Club in Fairburn.
