Brayson expands building activity in 4 metro countiesAtlanta-based home builder Brayson Homes is opening communities for the first time in Carroll and Cherokee counties and adding communities in Coweta and Gwinnett counties, where it already has a track record of quality construction and successful home sales. Southwoods at Mirror Lake in Carroll County, The Enclave at Diamond Ridge in Cherokee, The Reserve at Lakeside in Gwinnett, and Dale at SummerGrove in Coweta, bring to 23 the total number of current Brayson communities in 11 counties in the Metro Atlanta region. More than 8,000 new homeowners have moved in to Brayson communities since the company was founded in 1977. Southwoods at Mirror Lake, Villa Rica, Carroll County: Mirror Lake is an exceptional planned community centered on a 96-acre lake spanning two counties, Carroll and Douglas. With the development of Southwoods in Carroll County and The Enclave in Cherokee County, Brayson now has communities in 11 Metro Atlanta counties: Clayton, Coweta, DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Newton, Paulding and Spalding, in addition to Carroll and Cherokee. Brayson is listed No. 9 in Atlanta Business Chronicle's most recent listing of "Atlanta's Top 25 Home Builders." The company is one of the few of the 13,000 builders in the more than 20-year history of the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Program to receive the Diamond Builder award for quality construction and outstanding customer service. Brayson has also earned awards in the prestigious Professionalism Awards sponsored by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. Each year, Brayson Homes and its building partners dedicate their time and materials to building a home in support of the Georgia Transplant Foundation, an organization that assists organ transplant recipients, candidates and their families. All of the proceeds from the sale of the designated Brayson home are donated to directly provide for patients who need assistance during and after the transplant process. "Transplant House" donations exceeded the $1 million mark this spring with the sale of a home in the Gables at Heron Bay in Spalding County. Other home sales have benefited the American Cancer Society, the DeKalb County Department of Family and Children Services and a Gwinnett County battered women's shelter.
