Woolsey to host Alzheimer’s conference

A Conference entitled, “Caring For Your Loved One With Alzheimer’s Disease” will be held Sunday, July 24, from 2:30 - 5 p.m. at Woolsey Baptist Church, 115 Hampton Road in Fayetteville.

Presented by the Alzheimer’s Association, the conference will include such topics as: Overview of Alzheimer’s disease; effective communication strategies; preventing and responding to behaviors; techniques for helping individuals with activities of daily living; enhancing safety; impact of Alzheimer’s disease on the family; caregiver wellness; and Alzheimer’s Association resources.

A question and answer session also is planned.
