CTK recognizes graduatesHigh school and college graduates for 2005 were recently recognized at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg. Receiving leather-bound copies of the 1979 Book of Common Prayer for their accomplishments were Danielle Johnson of Peachtree City, a McIntosh High School graduate; Edwina Bond Cowgill, also of Peachtree City, who received her bachelors degree from Logos College of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Carolyn Fjeran of Newnan, who received a bachelors degree from Atlanta Christian College. Receiving special recognition was the Rev. Deacon David Neece of Newnan, who received his bachelors degree from Clayton State University and who, later this year, will receive his master of ministry degree from St. Michaels Seminary. Neece was given a handmade liturgical stole. The presentations were made by Father David Epps, pastor of the church. Christ the King is on Ga. Hwy. 34 between Peachtree City and Newnan. |
