PTC summer track series comes to a close next week

The Peachtree City Running Club will present the championship meet of the 2005 Summer Track Series at the Peachtree City Track and Riley Field adjacent to Peachtree City Elementary School on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

Registration begins Tuesday at 6 p.m. and the first event starts at 6:30 p.m. There is no entry fee for participants or for fans.

Events in the meet include the 50 yard dash for ages 10 and under, the 100 meter dash, the 200 meter dash, the 400 meter dash, the 800 meter run, the one mile run, the 3,200 meter run, the 5K run and the 400 and 1,600 meter relays. There will be no field events.
