Bad Links? | Fayette County Library hosts summer genealogy series starting next MondayBy CAROLYN CARY The Fayette County Public Library is hosting a genealogy summer series presented by Sloan Superior Tutors, Inc. There is no charge for the three week classes that will take place on Mondays, July 11, July 18th and July 25th. The classes begin at 7 p.m. and will generally conclude by 8:30 p.m. The topic for the first week is Packing Your Genealogy Suitcase, followed by The Census Takers Tracks, and the last week is entitled War is Help - For Genealogists, and is a program on military records. It examines wars and military conflicts in American history. To register, call the Fayette Library, Eugenia Price, 770-461-8841. Walk-ins will also be welcome. |
