Ms. Deborah Hullinger of Lawrenceville and Darrell Hullinger of Orlando, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Marie Hullinger, to Ryan Ashley Peavyhouse, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Peavyhouse of Lilburn.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of St. Pius X Catholic High School and Berry College. She currently teaches math at Starr’s Mill High School in Fayetteville.
The future groom is a graduate of Parkview High School and Villanova University where he received a degree in economics.
The wedding will be Saturday, July 16, 2005, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City.
After a honeymoon to Oahu, Hawaii, the couple will reside in Senoia.
Oakley anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. James Abner (Claudine) Oakley of Fayetteville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 29 at the Southern Oaks. The couple was married 50 years ago in Fife at the home of the groom’s uncle and aunt, the Rev. and Mrs. Julian Thompson. Mrs. Thompson (Ruby) was a witness to both events.
Mr. Oakley retired from Delta Air Lines with 35 years service, and Mrs. Oakley worked for many years for State Farm Insurance Company. They are enjoying their retirement traveling and visiting with friends and family.
Many of their memories have been gathered around the Hopeful Community and Bethany United Methodist Church activities.
