‘God’s Politics’ discussion group set

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will host a discussion group for the book, God’s Politics, Why the Right Gets it Wrong and the Left Doesn’t Get It, beginning Wednesday, July 6, at 7:15 p.m. in the Common Room of the church. There is no charge for the discussion group and the public is invited to attend. Those attending are asked to bring their own copy of the book.

A surprise best-seller authored by Jim Wallis, the book calls for religious communities to become involved in supporting the politics of key values of prophetic religious tradition.

Says Wallis, “These are the values of love and justice, reconciliation, and community that Jesus taught and that are at the core of what many of us believe, Christian or not.”

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity is at 130 Antioch Road, just off of Ga. Hwy. 92 South, at Harp’s Crossing in Fayetteville.
