Gov’t, paper offices to be closed for 4th

If you have any pressing business with your local officials, you need to get it done by the end of the week.

City offices in Peachtree City, Tyrone, Fayetteville and Fayette County will all be closed down Monday for the July 4 holiday.

In Peachtree City, all offices will be closed Monday, including Kedron Fieldhouse and The Gathering Place.

The Kedron pools will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on July 4, and Glenloch, Clover Reach and Pebble Pocket pools will be open during their regular hours on July 4.

Also, all Driver’s License Customer Service Centers will be closed Saturday, July 2 through July 4. Offices will reopen July 5. The Tuesday following a holiday is typically a very busy day, so officials urge customers to plan ahead. Standard office hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Citizen Newspaper offices will be closed Monday and will reopen for business Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
