Bad Links? | Tanger hosts weekend of events leading up to July 4Tanger Factory Outlet Center in Locust Grove is celebrating Independence Day early with a week-long sale before the July 4 blowout Super Saturday Sidewalk Sale. The celebration kicked off Monday with the start of a week of savings. Customers will find great bargains at all their favorite outlets through July 4. The fireworks really get going Saturday with Tangers Super Saturday Sidewalk Sale. The sidewalk sale will offer blow-out savings from designer name outlet stores perfect for filling that beach bag or completing a new summer wardrobe. At Tanger Outlet Center in Locust Grove, July 2 is also Drink More Coca-Cola Day. In honor of the release of Coca-Cola Zero, a taste test will be held at the center. Customers who bring three Coca-Cola bottle caps purchased throughout the day to the Management Office will get a spin on the Tanger Prize Wheel for a special gift, a flag and a Tanger patriotic postcard to fill out for the troops overseas. Tanger will mail these postcards for shoppers who wish to show their patriotism. The center is open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.
