Bad Links? | Maughan wins first Outlaw race of season at AMSFayettevilles Trey Maughan picked up his first win of the season at the Tuhrsday Thunder racing series last Thursday. he started at the pole and kept friend and chief competitior Daniel Moore at bay for the race. Other locals who raced well at Thursday were Senoias Tina Johnson, ninth in the Semi-Pro race and Peachtree Citys Ed Clark, fourth in the Roadtsers race and seventh in the Tanger Outlet Center Masters race. Atlanta Motor Speedways Thursday Thunder will return this week for the third round of the ten-week schedule of Legends, Bandolero and Roadster racing. Dont miss Hawaiian Night presented by WSB-AM radio. Wear your favorite Hawaiian gear to win a prize. Included in the nights activities will be a celebrity race featuring WSB-AM traffic reporters, Captain Herb Emory and Mark Arum. Tickets for Thursday Thunder are available at Gate 13 (frontstretch Champions Grandstand) on event nights. Parking is free. Spectator gates open at 6 p.m. with preliminary action beginning immediately.
