Fire and Emergency Services Unauthorized burning: At 5:23 p.m. June 15, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to 319 Hambrick Park after a call about unauthorized burning was reported. Outdoor burning is prohibited from May 1 to Sept. 30. A $500 fine could be imposed on violators. Water problem: At 11:45 p.m. June 16, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to a water problem at 260 Wakefield Place. Power lines down: At 7:53 p.m. June 17, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to 190 Lincoln Road. Unauthorized burning: At 8:39 p.m. June 18, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to 205 N. Fayette Drive after a call about unauthorized burning was reported. Unauthorized burning: At 1:50 p.m. June 19, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to 105 Forest Lake Drive after a call about unauthorized burning was reported. From June 14-20: the Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services received 118 calls for help.
Fayetteville Fire Dept. Electrical problem: At 12:14 p.m. June 14, Fayetteville firefighters responded to a an electrical problem at 420 S. Glynn St. Gas spill: At 6:57 p.m. June 15, Fayetteville firefighters responded to a gas spill at 95 S. Jeff Davis Drive. Smoke scare: At 11:01 p.m. June 16, Fayetteville firefighters responded to a smoke scare at 660 N. Glynn St. From June 13-19: the Fayetteville Fire Department received 41 calls for help.
Peachtree City Fire and Rescue Structure Fire (Industrial): At 1:38 p.m. June 14, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to reported structure fire at Photocircuits, 810 Dividend Drive. Firefighters arrived to find the majority of the fire was located outside the manufacturing plant in the air filtration system or scrubber system. This included ductwork and the large filtering equipment. Fire crews entered the facility and made sure the fire was extinguished inside the building in the ductwork. The outside filtering equipment that was on fire was extinguished. Crews using thermal imagers monitored the affected equipment. The facility was handed over to plant management after the fire was extinguished and hot spots were cooled. Structure Fire: At 4:16 p.m. June 14, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to reported structure fire at 137 Ardenlee. The firefighters arrived to find the resident had thought there had been a fire in their electrical outlets. The firefighters checked residence for indications of a fire. There was no fire inside the house, but power was turned off to the outlet. Residence was turned over to the occupant and told to contact an electrician to check the electrical circuits. Golf Cart fire: At 2:06 p.m. June 17, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a reported vehicle fire at intersection of Hip Pocket and Willow Bend. The firefighters arrived to find the golf cart fire had been extinguished. Motor Vehicle Collision: At 8:25 a.m. June 18, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to an accident at Crosstown and Highway 74. One patient was transported by Peachtree City Fire/Rescue ambulance to a local hospital. Motor Vehicle Collision: At 1:04 a.m. June 19, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to an accident at North Cove and Peachtree Parkway. One patient was transported by Peachtree City Fire/Rescue ambulance to a local hospital. Gas leak: At 3:56 p.m. June 19, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a reported outside gas leak at 1140 Crosstown Court. A strong odor was found but was being caused by the paving that was ongoing not too far away from facility. Aircraft Fire: At 6:14 p.m. June 19, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to reported aircraft fire at Falcon Field. Personnel and equipment arrived to find a small fire that had been extinguished by the ground crew of the airport. From June 13-19: Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to 59 calls for help.
