Bad Links? | Lightning stay hot with fourth straight winThe Southern Crescent Lightning are riding their third four game winning streak of the season after defeating the Carolina Heat 113-104 last Friday. In fact, they have won eight of their last nine games and have only score below 106 points once in that time. The team has also not lost once under the reign of new coach and general manager John Bailey. The Lightning hosted the Carolina Heat last night at 7 p.m. and will face them on the road on Friday before hosting their final home game of the season at 7 p.m. on Saturday against the Macon Blaze. The Lightning have not lost to Macon this season, going 3-0. They will travel to Macon for a game on Sunday. The Lightning are currently 13-5 overall and 10-4 in their conference with four more conference games this week. They sit on top of the Eastern Conference and have a player leading all major categories in the conference. Bobby Brown leads in points per game with 20.88 and steals with 56, while Xavier Oliver leads the conference in rebounds (166) and blocks (51). Marcus Taylor leads the conference in assists with 102.
