St. Gabriel plans two-day rummage saleThe Catholic Church of St. Gabriel will have its annual rummage sale Friday, June 24, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Saturday, June 25, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Proceeds will go toward the construction of a new 20,000 sq. ft. building which will house both a new sanctuary and religious education classrooms. The sale, the largest fund raiser of the year for St. Gabriels, will be conducted on the church property at 152 Antioch Rd. Items of all types will be sold, including clothing, household items, appliances, furniture, yard items, playground equipment, and numerous other items. In addition, baked goods prepared by parishioners will be available for sale. Nearly all clothing this year will be sold for only $1. The Knights of Columbus will man the kitchen, preparing food to be sold to shoppers. The church is just south of the intersection of Ga. Hwy. 92 South and Antioch Road.
