Bad Links? | Hamill elected to World Air Holdings boardWorld Air Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: WLDA), has announced the election of Madeline Hamill as a new member of its board of directors for a three-year term. Hamill is managing partner of Hildebrand, Hamill & Associates LLC, of Atlanta. Current board members Daniel Altobello and Peter Sontag also were re-elected to three-year terms. Prior to creating Hildebrand Hamill & Associates, Hamill served as vice president and director of worldwide strategic planning for The Coca-Cola Company. She also served on the eight-person global marketing leadership team that set the agenda and direction for marketing throughout the world. As the managing partner of Hildebrand Hamill and Associates, she has led the creation of strategic and operational plans for Fortune 500 companies to medium-sized businesses and start-ups. Her clients range from packaged good companies to media companies, general building contractors, retail and data technology businesses. A native of Belfast, Northern Ireland, Hamill has a Ph.D. from Queens University in Belfast. She serves on the boards of Holy Innocents' Episcopal School and the Georgia Council of International Visitors. She is a member of the Society of International Business Fellows and the National Association of Corporate Directors. World Air Holdings has three wholly owned subsidiaries: World Airways, Inc., North American Airlines, Inc., and World Risk Solutions, Ltd. World Airways is a charter passenger and cargo airline founded in 1948, North American is a charter passenger airline founded in 1989, and World Risk Solutions is an insurance subsidiary established in 2004. |
