Halo tournament set for tomorrow

X Playground and the Peachtree City Youth Council will present a 2v2 Halo tournament this Saturday at 1 p.m.

The entry fee is $10 per person and first place wins two all-day passes and two monthly memberships to X Playground and a $50 gift card to EB Games.

The event will have three phases: Free For All, Team Pool Play and Team Single Elimination. A single player Free For All will start the event. Players will be grouped together randomly in groups of up to eight. The top 50 percent of the players will advance. The entire Free For All will be played on Hang ‘Em High. The team tournament will begin shortly after the Free For All. The total number of teams is divided into pools and each team will play all other teams in the pool. Each game is a maximum of 15 minutes and pool play will continue until eight or fewer teams are left and advance to the dingle elimination rounds. The 2v2 single elimination rounds will have teams compete in the best two out of three games.
