Fire and Emergency Services Carbon monoxide incident: At 10:22 a.m. May 24, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to carbon monoxide incident at 155 Inverness Shores Drive. Power lines down: At 8:08 p.m. May 26, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to downed power lines at Flat Creek and Tyrone Road. Smoke scare: At 8:41 p.m. May 26, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to a smoke scare at Farr Lake and Tyrone Road. Outside equipment fire: At 11:31 a.m. May 28, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to an outside equipment fireat 210 Carriage Chase Drive. Building fire: At 7:13 p.m. May 28, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to a building fire at 219 W. Kelly Lake Road. From May 25-31: Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services received 84 calls for help. Peachtree City Fire & Rescue Interior gas leak: At 11:33 a.m. on May 23rd 2005, Peachtree City Fire and Rescue personnel responded to a gas Leak inside of a structure at 501 Villa Point. An investigation determined the source of the leak was a gas stove. Alarm: At 11:51 p.m. May 23, Peachtree City Fire and Rescue personnel responded to a fire alarm at Chilis, 250 Market Place Connector. After investigation, the alarm was determined to be false. Structure fire: At 2:11 a.m. May 24, Peachtree City Fire and Rescue personnel responded to a structure fire at 303 Deergrass Trail. The fire was extinguished and determined to be electrical in origin. Odor investigation: At 2:39 p.m. May 24, Peachtree City Fire and Rescue personnel responded to 103 City Circle to investigate a suspicious odor inside a structure. An investigation showed that the odor was a result of maintenance on the heating and air conditioning system. Outside gas leak: At 7:37 a.m. May 25, Peachtree City Fire and Rescue personnel responded to a outside gas leak. An investigation determined that construction crews on Highway 54 West had struck a gas line. Fire personnel secured the scene while the gas line was repaired. Cooking fire: At 11:16 p.m. May 25, Peachtree City Fire and Rescue personnel responded to a cooking fire at 213 Chardonnay Court. The fire was extinguished and contained to the stove. From May 23-30: Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to 46 calls for help.
