Bad Links? | Sandy Creek cadets awarded medalsAt the resent Military Awards Banquet held for Sandy Creek Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, both the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution presented medals to two outstanding cadets. The Sons Bronze ROTC Medal is presented to cadets at the secondary level program. The recipient was selected for a high degree of merit with respect to leadership qualities, military bearing and excellence. The United States Army, Navy, and Air Force officially recognize the SAR ROTC Medal. Each has authorized the award for its personnel. The cadet who earned this medal for the 2004-2005 school year was Cadet Marie Auers. At the same time the DAR ROTC Medal was also awarded. The criteria for the DAR Medal are based along the same guidelines as the SAR Medal. The cadet who earned this medal for the 2004-2005 school year was Jacquelyn Bracco. |
