Bad Links? | Alabama Symphony Orchestra Lake Martin Memorial Weekend ConcertThe Alabama Symphony Orchestra will bring a concert of favorite patriotic music to the tranquil setting of the Lake Martin Amphitheater this Memorial Day weekend. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. May 29. Gates will open at 5 p.m. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a picnic basket, blankets or lawn chairs. The evening concert will feature light classical and popular music selections. We look forward to a night out under the stars, good fellowship and wonderful entertainment with friends and family, said Blue Vardaman, Lake Martin Arts Council board member. We hope this wil become an annual event. The Lake Martin Amphitheater is located just off U.S. Highway 63, about 1.4 miles south of Kowaliga Bridge. The dirt road entrance is clearly marked. Ticket prices for the concert are $10 in advance, $15 at the gate. Children 6 and under are free.
