FSS hosts health fair for seniorsSince the early 90s I have lectured at the FBI Academy, for law The Fayette Senior Services held a health fair with over 150 senior citizens participating. Among the events were opportunities to get an eye check, blood pressure check, cholesterol, diabetes and bone density checks. Fayette County Probate Judge Martha Stephenson gave a talk on probating wills and new laws in Georgia, and Robert Goldberg, an Elder Law attorney, spoke on living wills, and durable power of attorney for health care. The event was held at Flat Creek Baptist Church with breakfast provided by Ashley Glen Assisted Living and Alzheimers Care, and lunch provided by Dogwood Forest Assisted Living and Alzheimers Care.
