Bad Links? | Glenn named VP at GAAMGuggenheim Partners Alternative Asset Management Group (GAAM), in an effort to expand its product marketing and distribution network, has named Dylan Glenn of Columbus as its new vice president of marketing and client services team in New York. Glenn will play an active role in strengthening GAAMs marketing efforts and distribution network, particularly in the public funds market. Glenn is the second recent senior addition to GAAMs marketing team. In December of 2004, GAAM added David Worley as the senior director of marketing and client relationship team. Glenn will be reporting to Loren M. Katzovitz and Patrick T. Hughes, the two managing partners of GAAM, and working closely with Worley in developing GAAMs customer base and distribution network. GAAM is a private investment firm focused on providing customized asset management platform or solutions to its investors in the alternative assets class. Currently, GAAM, through one or more of its affiliates, manages over $2 billion of assets in a fund-of-fund structure. GAAMs client base consists of sophisticated high-net-worth individuals and families, large pension funds or trusts, banks and other institutional investors. We are thrilled to have Dylan join the marketing team at Guggenheim said Loren M. Katzovitz, a managing partner of GAAM. Dylan brings a wealth of relationships and knowledge that will transition well into the world of institutional and high net worth alternative asset investing. His ability to reach out and engage public funds, corporates, foundation & endowments and individuals & families in a thoughtful, professional way is reflective of the GAAMs approach to developing long-term investor relationships. The addition of Dylan is part of the continuing expansion of infrastructure and talent base to solidify our leadership position in the public funds marketplace added Hughes, a managing partner of GAAM. Prior to joining Guggenheim, Glenn served as a special assistant for economic policy to President George W. Bush in the White House from 2001-2003 and later as deputy chief of staff to Georgias first Republican governor, Sonny Perdue. A native Georgian, he has been active in Republican politics in that state and was a candidate for a Congressional seat from the state of Georgia in 2004. Dylan Glenn is a graduate of the Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, and holds a B.A. degree from Davidson College in North Carolina. In 2000, he was named one of 40 outstanding Georgians under 40 years of age by Georgia Trend magazine.
