Bad Links? | Meeting to focus on meth abuse in FayetteLocal law enforcement, school personnel and other public and private agencies will be presented a program on methamphetamine abuse Monday, May 23, from noon to 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Peachtree City. The program will focus on the dangers of methamphetamines and what can be done through a community effort to combat it in Fayette County, officials said. The meeting will be conducted by the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse, which is chaired by Fayette County Juvenile Court Judge Tarey Schell. Anyone interested in attending should RSVP by calling 770-716-2797, 404-291-1602 or 770-460-2569. Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP by May 18.
