Bad Links? | Downtown vision meeting is Tuesday By JOHN THOMPSON Senoias leaders are hoping free food will entice residents next week to offer their thoughts on downtown development. The Senoia Downtown Development Authority is staging a May 10 town hall meeting to get creative ideas for new development in Senoia Now that the citys sewer system is up and running, the possibilities for Senoia's downtown have expanded. The meeting is at the Freeman Sasser Building in the citys park and will be moderated by Paul Kreager, Economic Development Consultant with the University of Georgia, and Corinne Blencoe of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. At the midway point of the meeting a light meal of Sloppy Joes, chips and tea will be served and results of the visioning exercises will be discussed to end the night's session. The purpose of this meeting is to get input from citizens on what they would like to one day see in downtown Senoia, said DDA Chairperson Joyce Smith in a press release this week. Were not saying that all of the ideas that come up at this meeting will be implemented but it gives the DDA an idea of what the citizens want and then we can see what is doable.
