The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Ms. Clessie Jane Ballew Mathis of Fayetteville, Mr. and Mrs. William Jack Mathis of Woodstock, and Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Ballard Sr. of Atlanta. She is a 2000 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and a 2005 graduate of Georgia State University where she earned a B.S. degree in criminal justice. She currently is employed at White Oak Family Practice in Newnan.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. A.T. McQueen of Monroeville, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. S.M. Champion Jr., of Hayneville, Ala. A 2000 graduate of Sandy Creek High School, he currently attends Clayton College and State University and will graduate with a B.B.A. degree in management. He currently is employed with Formetal Inc. in Forest Park.
The wedding will be June 18, 2005, at the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City, with a reception following at the Hollingsworth House in Fayetteville. Dr. Jack Timothy Mathis of Danville, Ky., uncle of the bride, will conduct the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in Maui, the couple will reside in Peachtree City.
Hall-Gratzer
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hall of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Lynn, to Jeremy Daniel Gratzer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gratzer Jr. of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Betty Hall and the late Victor Hall of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Collie Smith and the late Rosa Smith of Fayetteville. She is a 1999 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in public relations. She currently is employed as the manager of Center Stage Dancewear in Fayetteville.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gratzer Sr. of Brooks and Betty Privett and the late Marvin Privett of Union City. He is a 2003 graduate of Fayette County High School and will graduate in May from the University of Georgia with a degree in animal science.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 21, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Fayetteville, followed by a reception at The Commons at Ft. McPherson Army base.
After a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple will reside in Sharpsburg.
Farmer, Brooke
R. Keith and Valli P. Farmer of Peachtree City announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Erin Rebekah Farmer, to Nicholas Brevard Brooke, son of J. Lynton and Darlene Brooke of Peachtree City.
The bride is the granddaughter of Ada Pline of Jonesboro and Raymond and Betty Farmer of Anderson, S.C. She was graduated from Starrs Mill High School in 2000 and received a degree in nursing from North Georgia College and State University. She currently is a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit at Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta.
The groom is the grandson of Gerald Guettler of Lawrenceville and Emogene Brooke of Jacksonville, Ala. He was graduated from McIntosh High School in 2000 and received a bachelors degree in business from North Georgia College and State University. He plans to become a United States Marine Corps pilot.
The wedding will be May 14, 2005, at Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City.
