Touch-a-Truck returns

TRUCKS! TRUCKS! And more TRUCKS!  The Peachtree City Parks and Recreation Department will hold the fifth Annual Touch-A- Truck event May 7 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.   This year we are adding a Health and Wellness Fair.  Both events will be held at Shakerag Knoll in Peachtree City. 

This event brings together all sorts of trucks, diggers, sweepers, semis, mixers, haulers, police & fire vehicles etc. parked in one place.  Kids of all ages come to see; touch; climb on, over, under and generally have a great time just being around these great big rigs.  It has been a fabulous success in the past and we are looking forward to an even better time this year.  We had several hundred residents and people from the surrounding area that had a great time last year. 

After you tour the big rigs, visit Shakerag Knoll for the Health and Wellness Fair. You will be able to get loads of information on bike safety, car seat safety, health care, and health and wellness tips from health care professionals in the area.  This event will be loads of FUN & it’s FREE!!!

There will be hot dogs, chips, cotton candy, soft drinks and other refreshments to make the event even more festive.  Come on out and bring the whole family to spend a leisurely day of seeing up close some of the vehicles we see everyday on our highways.  Great photo opportunity, so bring your cameras!
