Religion BriefsPTC UMC children to present musical tonightThe Peachtree City United Methodist Church childrens choirs will present a multimedia musical called, Who is Like the Lord? Wednesday, May 4, at 7 p.m. at the Robinson Road Campus. The musical has a strong evangelistic emphasis focusing on school-age children. Admission is free. New South Fayette Presbyterian opens its doorsSouth Fayette Presbyterian Church is a new church currently meeting at The Calvin Center on Woolsey Rd. The church has property on south Highway 92, which will be its permanent home in the future. Worship service is on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. A fellowship time precedes worship at 10 a.m., with childrens church, and a nursery provided each Sunday. Cary to speak to Basket Bunch at NativityFayette County Historian Carolyn Cary will be the guest speaker at the meeting of the Basket Bunch Friday, May 6, at 12:30 p.m., at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, 130 Antioch Rd., Fayetteville. The Basket Bunch is a group of men and women who meet the first Friday of each month for educational seminars, many geared toward senior citizens. Harps Spring Fling plannedThe Womens Enrichment Ministry at Harps Crossing Baptist Church will have its Spring Fling Friday, May 6, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 7, from 9 a.m. until noon. Turin UMC to present comedy show May 11Turin United Methodist Church and Young Audiences of Atlanta will present Ron Anglins Quite a Character, a juggling, musical, comedy show about the importance of good character, at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 11 in the sanctuary.
