Keith Fordham to speak at Woolsey Baptist May 15Dr. Keith Fordham will be the guest speaker at Woolsey Baptist Churchs Harvest Day, Sunday, May 15, at 115 Hampton Road in Fayetteville. Service times are 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Fordhams unique ministry includes his pal, Homer. Fordham is a graduate of the Maher School of Ventriloquism and is also a member of the North American Association of Ventriloquists. He uses Homer, his dummy, to teach Bible stories and to present brief Gospel messages. A spokesperson says, Keith Fordham is a dynamic, deeply spiritual evangelist, who is one of Gods greatly used men. His messages are timely, refreshing, always Bible-centered, energetic, and directly to the point ... Fordham has served many churches across the nation. Over 1,200 revivals, more than 31 years of full-time evangelism, and crusades in the U.S., Canada and India add a host of illustrations to his sermons. He often speaks to pastors and deacons at pastors conferences and state and national evangelism conferences. He was a vice president of the Georgia Baptist Convention and has served three terms as president of the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists, June 2004 - June 2005. A graduate of Samford University, Fordham has a master of divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a doctor of ministry from Immanuel Theological Seminary. He is married to the former Shirley Alice Waldrop of Forest Park. They have two children: Mrs. Angela Risher, a graduate of the University of Mobile; and Sam, a graduate of North Greenville College, who is currently a student at Southern Seminary.
